Bambang is the principal researcher for the male contraceptive Gendarussa developed at Airlangga University in Surabaya, Indonesia. He has led the research through a phase I and two phase II clinical trials. His work has been featured on PBS Newshour, The Jarkata Post, The Observer, and The Diplomat.
